Benefits for SpreadsheetWorld alumni begin with the hands-on training provided by SpreadsheetWorld.

Benefits
The powerful methods and best practices taught in these workshops provide immediate benefits to those attending, and provide a launch point for a deeper adventure in the use of Excel and VBA in their professions. Completing the workshop is then considered just the beginning. The methods taught need to be implemented. Past inefficient practices must be changed. This is an on-going process which is supported by SpreadsheetWorld and fellow alumni. SpreadsheetWorld alumni are invited to join in with the network of alumni join in a collaborative environment to support this process. Alumni can collaborate with SpreadsheetWorld staff and other alumni to develop specialized toolboxes, publish papers, create self-study tutorials, answer challenging questions, and participate in special interest groups.

This is a location where alumni can post news worth items related to the application of Excel and VBA in their professional field.

Self-Study Groups
This section is devoted to support for SpreadsheetWorld’s growing number of self-study alumni. The self-study approach to learning Excel/VBA is the most challenging and time consuming approach for both SpreadsheetWorld and for our participants. However, for several reasons, it is also a popular approach. The benefits are that you can go at your own pace, which requires a high level of self discipline.

SpreadsheetWorld is committed to providing as much support as possible for these alumni.

Special Interest Groups
SpreadsheetWorld Special Interest Groups (SIGG) are made up of those interested in using Excel, Excel Add-ins and Excel Templates to aid in the special topics of the groups. Membership in a SSIG is done by paid subscription. The period of membership is one year. Alumni of SWI courses are provided with free subscription to one SSIG for a period of one year.

Personal Assistance
SpreadsheetWorld technical staff enjoys hearing from alumni. We are available on a limited basis for assistance to SpreadsheetWorld alumni.
